shout out to J. Camp…yes, that’s what I call him 😉 he is my VERY fav, and his new album may be his best so far! B. Heath is also a crowd pleaser. i love the honesty of his lyrics, and the sincerity of his love for Jesus. “Our God Reigns” is my current fav. ag silver is tyt as well…it’s almost like they are just real, ya know 😉
Singing and music is so powerful. I mean, it caused David to dance around naked!
I just spent the afternoon at the house of a family from my new church. They would break into song together at the drop of a dime…it was awesome. English, German, normal, praise, you name it. The mom, Rita (not the lovely meter maid), has a beautiful voice and when she sings in our small group she uses her knees and thighs as drums. I love it. The pastor’s wife was playing the guitar so intensely a few weeks ago and Rita was banging out the rythm so hard and the pastor and another woman, Ulla, were tapping their feet so hard that the coffee table was shaking…and no one noticed. It was awesome!
