November 1

November 1

Halloween is finally behind us and we can officially move on to The Holidays! It’s hard to believe they’re already here! I had to dash through the grocery store today and got giddy when I saw Halloween items 50% off while Christmas decorations, cookies, candies, ice cream, and creamers were merrily on display. My heart skipped a beat with anticipation. You better believe I start celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving! We’ve already had a dinner with Christmas music playing on Pandora in the background.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love Thanksgiving. This year, in honor of the holiday, but mainly in honor of our amazingly good Father, I wanted to give thanks every day leading up to The Big Day.

For 23 days I, along with several mystery guests, will be writing a post a day answering the question, “What am I thankful for today?” It would be wonderful if you would leave comments every day sharing with us all what YOU are thankful for today! Also, post on social media using the hashtag #thankfultoday . It’ll be such a blast to be united around the theme of thankfulness. What a sweet fragrant offering this will be to our God. He delights in our thankfulness.

Today I am thankful for new friends. Moving to a different State is fraught with many challenges. It makes every difference in the world to make at least one friend. In just 2 months, God has already gifted me with a few beautiful ladies I call friend. We have had playdates, coffee dates, dinners as families, birthday parties, and times of prayer. The supernatural power of the Spirit upon our relationships here is nothing short of a miracle. Yes, thank you God for new friends!

What are YOU thankful for TODAY? #thankfultoday

  1. I am thankful for my group of Community Bible Study ladies. They’ve come up alongside me while I grow in Christ and I’m just so grateful to each person who crosses my path there. They’re impacting my life and my children’s lives in an immeasurable amount of eternal ways.

    1. Bethany, I have heard wonderful things about CBS! Thankful it has been a great resource for you and your kids!

  2. I’m a day late! So yesterday I was thankful for my women’s bible study group. It was a great morning of sharing and encouraging one another with the truths of God word! We were talking about our God as El Shaddai, the all sufficient one. I am truly thankful for that!

    1. I love that- the ALL SUFFICIENT ONE! So awesome!! Nothing like digging into the Word with other girls!!
